Thom - "I have worked for 13 years in IT systems in France and worldwide in companies with a high level of quality and certifications. There I developed my skills in the English language and acquired a rigorous work ethic as well as a strong culture of quality at the service of clients.
At the same time, I have practised entertainment with children, evening animation and outdoor sports such as running, which I still do a lot when the camping season gives me the time".

Pélagie - "Since my commercial studies, I have always been in close contact with customers, mainly in the area of banking. After more than 13 years and the birth of our 3 daughters, I wanted to give a new meaning to my relationship with people, closer and more open to our natural and societal environment. This pleasure in welcoming and advising people is now reflected in my personality and the way I work at the campsite.
Always active, I am very involved in professional, town and tourist associations as well as sports activities"

In 2014, we acquired the Camping Du Vieux Chateau and since then the enjoyment is still the same.

1961 ( early documents found) - Creation of the Campsite by the Sallafranque family

1987 to 2010 - The campsite is run by 2 successive Dutch families

2013 - Pélagie, Thom and their 3 daughters move to Camping Du Vieux Château
2014 - Installation of the pool heating system
2015 - Renovation of the sanitary facilities and creation of a motorhome dump station
2015 - Obtaining the Camping Qualité and Qualité Tourisme labels
2016 - Setting up of the Campétoiles, replacement of the 2 bedrooms mobile homes.
2017 - Relocation of the reception to the heart of the campsite, with new bar service open all season.
2018 - Creation of new 2 bedroom / 3 person mobile homes by renovating old accommodations, new petanque ground, new space under a big marquee.
2019 - Camping Du Vieux Château joins La Via Natura campsites association and obtains the Vignobles et Découverte label. Creation of the Grand-Confort pitches and full wifi coverage of the site.
2020 - Rehabilitation of the Truck, creation of the Alcove, and setting up of the sauna.
2021 - Start of work on the Colibri ecological sanitary facility, creation of the fitness room
2022 - Opening of the new Colibri summer sanitary facilities, installation of the new nature accommodations area, obtaining the Accueil Vélo label
2023 - New covered area around the reception / bar
2024 - Expansion of ecological sanitary facilities, increase in Grand Confort Caravan capacity, installation of teleworking bungalows
